Pink Ball Meets the Challenge

Over $30,000 raised to fight cancer.

Let’s celebrate the results from all the volunteers, the contributors and the hours and hours of preparation that went into staging the Annual Charbonneau Pink Ball Tournament for 2014.

Penny Kirk and Janie Olson, chairs for the event, and many many talented Niner committee members plus the Charbonneau Women’s Golf Association created an event that raised over $30,000 to fight cancer.  Many corporate contributions were added to the total as well as tee box signs that were printed with tributes to people who have waged a personal fight against cancer.  Golfers purchased mulligans, water balls and raffle tickets and also bid excitedly for the creative items on the auction block.

At the end of the day, it was an amazing event to benefit a cause that touches many of us at Charbonneau and in the surrounding community.  Some contributions are still coming in.

Niners, a big, giant thanks to all who contributed and volunteered to make this year’s challenge one that we met–and then some.  It was a day to remember!
