It’s “Around the Course in 30 Strokes”
The Niners’ Guest Day is always a big event, and this year it will be a really BRIGHT sight. In fact, a prize will be given to players with the brightest colored clothes! The theme for this year’s event takes a prize for positive thinking–30 strokes in nine holes. Wow!
Invite a lady friend to make up your two-person scramble team. Your partner can be any resident or non-resident of Charbonneau, a relative, or even another Niner or 18-hole member. Sign up sheets are on our counter where you can write down your name opposite your partner’s name. If you’ve contacted another twosome you’d like to make up your foursome, write them down next to yours and join them with a bracket. If you can’t play golf that day or if you’re a social member, you can sign up for lunch only–just look for the tab in the book.
Tuesday, June 23 schedule:
8AM Check-in and Treats
9AM Shotgun Start (be at your first hole to tee off )
11:30AM Lunch and Prizes
Lunch will be served by Dalton’s Catering and will include a Fresh Fruit Boat with Chicken Salad, Banana Bread and Cream Cheese among other tasty treats.
So all you need to do is sign-up in the book, make out your check to the Niners for $25.00/person and slip it into the Niner check slot by the 5PM June 16 cut-off. Greens fees should be paid by each person prior to play. To avoid gridlock on Tuesday morning, please try to pay your greens fees a day or two before play. On play day be sure to bring some spare change for the raffles, mulligans and putting contest.
For questions regarding Guest Day, our Co-Chairs Jane King and Betty Rogers are happy to help you. Thanks to them for planning what sounds like a great day with our guests. See you there for the fun!
