Eclectic, Rules Clinic, Scramble, Guest Day, Wildcats, and more
Our Eclectic (EC) Tournament begins May 10 and continues through September 27. The guidelines and a description of “what it is” can be found on our website in the “Results (scores)” section. Just click on it and you can read about it and print a copy of the sign-up form. It requires a $5 registration in cash or a check to Pat Tewell, the chairperson for EC. You can sign up at any time during the tournament–a handicap is required. Forms are also available on our club table in the pro shop.
If you are a committee chairperson, you can find the form needed to report your event expenses, etc. on our website in the “Minutes” section. Just click on it and print it out when you’re ready to present it to our treasurer.
All Niners are invited to participate in a Rules Clinic on May 26 at 1:00pm in the Country Club. The clinic will be presented by a member of the Oregon Golf Association. There is no charge for this service, however members need to sign up on the clipboard located on the club table in the Pro Shop. There is no limit to the number that can participate.
Our next Shotgun Scramble will be June 7. Rumor is the name has something to do with “Bling”–more on that later.
Heads up for Guest Day called “Picnic on the Green”. The always popular event takes place on June 21st when you can bring a female guest to play nine holes as your partner followed by a catered lunch and prizes in the dining room. The sign-up book will be available on the club table beginning Monday, May 23rd.
The Wilsonville H.S. Girls Golf Team “Wildcats” won their third consecutive Northwest Oregon Conference title at the game staged at Charbonneau on April 26th. You can find more information about the event on the “Wilsonville Spokesman” newspaper website.
Welcome to Tory Mobley, Snack Bar Manager. The new snack bar adjacent to the Pro Shop is scheduled to open on June 1st. We are all looking forward to enjoy some snacks there!
