When:   September 11, 2018
Registration 8:15 am        Tee Off 9:00 am            Lunch 11:30 am

Format:   Four person Scramble followed by Lunch and Silent & Oral Auctions.

Who:  Everyone is invited, women, men, guests.  Sign up individually,  as a couple or put together a four person team.

Sign Up:  In the Pro Shop Club Room before September 4th.

Cost:  Golf $16 paid to the pro shop… Lunch $20 paid to the niners… Entry fee $15 paid to niners for donation (you may combine niner checks)

Purpose:  All proceeds donated to OHSU Phil Knight Cancer Research Foundation.

Wear a bit of pink and join us for a fun day of golf and giving.  See you there!

WE NEED WINE DONATIONS FOR THE PINK BALL TOURNAMENT!

As of  August 18, we have about 24 bottles of wine donated for the Pink Ball Tournament. In the past, we have raised about $10,000 each year from the proceeds we get from wine sales and auctions, but have about 160 bottles of wine.

There is still time to donate before September 9.
1. If you would like Ron Leeper to purchase wine for you at wholesale prices, please leave him a check for $15 or more under the wine bottle in his courtyard at: 31555 SW Arbor Glen Loop.
2. If you would like to donate wine that you drink, or Corona or Blue Moon beer, we suggest that you donate 2 bottles or more and bring it to the courtyard of Bob and Patty Graham at: 32105 SW East Lake Court. Please include your name with your donation.
3. If you would like to donate “special” wine from your collection, we would greatly appreciate it for our auctions. Please call, Dana Richmond at 503 694-6983 to coordinate delivery. Or, take it with a note to the Graham’s and a description of your “special” wine and potential value.

Thank you in advance for your generosity. Cancer affects all of us, and the research of OHSU is proving to be valuable for prostate cancer, chronic myeloid leukemia, osteosarcoma (that mostly strikes children and teens)& research linking exercise as having a positive effect on cancer.

13th Annual Pink Ball Tournament is September 12th

The Pink Ball Tournament is more than playing golf.

Cancer has touched most of our lives and this is our opportunity to give to the effort to find cures though our donation to the OHSU Phil Knight Cancer Research Foundation.

The entry fee for the tournament will be donated to the Foundation.
The tournament is a scramble and you may choose who you play with or just sign up and be surprised.  Anyone can sign up to play.

Once again, there will be silent and oral auctions.
If you are unable to play, you may still participate in the lunch and auctions.

If you are unable to participate in any of the fun activities and want to make a donation, make your check out to OHSU  Knight Institute and place it in the locked box at the pro shop.

Grand Opening of CHOA PUTTING GREEN

Please join CHOA for the Grand Opening of the new CHOA PUTTING GREEN Monday, August 20th at 6:00 to 7:30 pm

There will be cookies and punch along with a putting contest. Come and test your putting skills against your neighbors! You might even win a prize!

Please note that there is limited parking in the area. Please plan to drive your golf cart, walk (on the sidewalks/roads- not the golf course) or park over in the Villages parking lot. We will have a shuttle golf cart to take you back and forth between the parking lot to the event. The shuttle will run from 5:30 to 7:45 pm.

The CHOA Putting Green is located off Red 9 fairway and behind the Sacajawea Pool.

A song has come available for anyone wanting to participate in this year’s Niner production of Motown. The song Tears of a Clown is available if anyone wants to come join a great group of gals that love to have fun. Lipsinc the song, think of a cute costume or outfit to wear and join the group.. USGA Handicap
Have played in 5 Niners Events (including Scrambles, Tuesday play, and Special Events)
