We are getting closer every day. Our meetings are now every Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Clubhouse Conference room. Come join us for pastries and coffee and hear what we have planned. Like the ‘Pink Ball Pink Pig Putting Pen’. Several of the Chair people can still use help.
Thanks to several of you who gave me checks to help with purchasing gifts to assemble baskets! I am still accepting donations. You can also make donations directly to the Pink Ball Golf Tournament by writing a check to OHSU and in the memo line write Pink Ball Golf Tournament and put this in the Niners slot in the clubroom. Your checks are tax deductible.
Do you have a basket and/or gift item for the Silent Auction? We are able to store items in the Kiosk next to the Pro Shop. It was the Re Max office. Kim and/or Karen (clubhouse office) have the key. You are welcome to call me and I will meet you there.
The sheets are ready for requesting a Tee-Box sign. Dianne Reiter has placed them in the Club Room in the Pro Shop next to the The Turn. Pick up some and give to family and/or friends you know that have been touched by cancer.
Also, the Sign Up Book is now in the Club Room. Sign up now is encouraged. We don’t want any Niners on a Waiting List.
WE have a bagpiper coming around 8:30 a.m. We will all gather around tee box signs placed around the pro shop area and have a moment of Silence to remember those being honored by the signs.
And don’t forget Michael Allan Harrison will be performing on the piano as we come in from golf. 11-12:30 p.m.
We are going to make some flyers to #1 give details on the Pink Ball Tournament (date, time, costs, etc) should you wish to give out to family/friends. #2 Flyer will be for you to give to family/friends who would like to support with a donation and are not able to attend our event. Kind of ‘in lieu of a paddle raise’. Thanks to Roberta Pronovost and Julie Beaton for these suggestions.
